The Highs and Lows of the Etihad Airways Curtain Raiser Cup Qualifiers

Our Under 9's A side flew into the Semi Finals of the Etihad Airways Curtain Raiser Cup held at Harlequins recently. They were drawn alongside two Kent teams, Dartfordians and Whitstable, meeting each side twice. Our boys proved to be far too strong for their opponents, playing some breathtaking open rugby and recording 4 wins by scoring a total of 28 tries without reply during their matches.

Unfortunately having scaled the heights to reach the Semi Finals we were brought back down to earth as the organisers have since moved the Finals day to the same day as the Herts County Festival. Therefore our journey has been aborted until next season.
