Welwyn currently have one table of 10 for the above Ball and would like to have at least one more table. If you fancy treating yourself to a good evening out, please contact Heather Elliott as soon as possible.

As you can see from above we have sought a neutral venue with which we are delighted in the wonderful countryside just outside the village of Walkern, near Stevenage. We will be dining and dancing under canvas on the front lawns of this magnificent estate. The date chosen is so that most people will be back off holiday and it is as close as we can get to the start of the new season.

Ticket applications are now available with a cost per ticket of £55 which we have strived to keep as low as possible, this is aimed as being a non-profit event. This will include a welcome drink, three course meal with cheese & biscuits along with coffee available from a separate island and of course a fully manned bar to quench your thirst following your many trips to the dance floor.

Tickets can be applied for as individuals or as tables of 10 and we sincerely hope that all county member clubs will take at least one table. This is a great opportunity for clubs to have their sponsors and benefactors join them in a different social environment and also for all rugby minded people to get together for what we believe will be a very special evening.

Dress code: Dinner Jackets, Ball Gowns with the additional offer of Club Blazers as an alternative including Bow Ties.

On receipt of your completed application form & cheque we will forward to you tickets, a table wine pre-selection form and a request for a Vegetarian option. We will not have Credit Card facilities on the evening so the bar will be a cash/cheque bar only.
