In our Semi Final qualifying group we were drawn up against Tunbridge Wells from Kent for our opening game. Both teams wanted an opening win and it was an edgy start to the game. We were the first to concede a try as, despite applying pressure on the Tunbridge line, we allowed them to score from a swift breakaway. However the boys responded magnificently as they stepped up their game and at last our possession paid dividend. The rest of the game was almost exclusively played out in the Tunbridge territory with Keir using his blistering pace and power to run in an impressive hat trick of tries to seal the win.
